Last things first, Halloween:
Next...we've gotten in the habit of randomly surprising my family by showing up in Utah without prior notice. Just last weekend Steven didn't have to work on Saturday so he suggested we show up for Cooper's championship football game! It was so much fun! Steven and his brother went snowboarding in the morning, while I got to hang out with my Mom. Then they met up with us at Cooper's game and cheered him on as they won the title!
In other news, our ward split again and we're in the new ward, the 91st. We're in a building on campus now instead of a ward building, which means I sit in a desk 6 days of the week! I've also been called to serve as second counselor in the Relief Society. I'm excited to serve the women in our ward and to work with the presidency I'm in. It should be an exciting semester balancing my practicum and Steven and my calling! Because I'm going to be so busy I won't be able to work next semester. My boss has been interviewing other students to fill my position and it's been surprisingly hard! I'm so sad to be leaving this job. I've been working on campus for 3 years now! My boss is like a father to me! I've loved working for him, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful priviledge I've had to become friends with such a kind man and his good family. I'll be stayin on payroll in case he ever needs me to come in if I've got some time. This post has been long enough so I'll update again in a few days! I love you all!

Next story. Believe it or not one of my lifelong goals has been to play the tamborine in a band. In high school I happened to be friends with a group of fellows who had formed a band, and after asking, begging and pleading with them to let me play the tamborine I still never had the opportunity. Well on Saturday Steven and I went to a show on campus called "Buckets and Tap Shoes." It's this group of 4 guys who can tap dance, play the drums, the guitar and the bass, and they put on a really good show! Steven was whooping and hollering the whole night. For their ancore, they invited people up on stage. I didn't think much of it until one of the band members held up a tamborine, and invited us to come and play. I literally used my elbows to push people out of the way and fulfil one of my dreams! It was so funny! Steven lauged so hard when he saw me book it up there! In the end I was one of about 30 people up on stage, and one of a handful of tamborine players, but it doesn't matter! I was so thrilled!!!!!

As you may also know I'm dating someone. I'm so ridiculously happy! He's such a sweetheart and we have such a good time together! I don't want everyone to freak out, we're both taking things slow and steady. No he doesn't know about my feelings for Parker yet, but I'm relying on the spirit and much prayer to help me know what the best decision will be WHEN THE TIME COMES!!! As for now I am crazy about him, and feel so blessed that I have him in my life!
